Ni-Resist
Description:
Ni - Resist is a high nickel-metals used to resist acid, caustic and salt solutions. Ni - Resist has an austenitic structure matrix by means of an alloy with Nickel along with approx. 10% carbide.
It offers excellent resistance to heat , corrosion and wear without being magnetic while retaining its machinability. It has the same coefficient of expansion as aluminium.
Typical applications: Parts for use in seawater, sulphuric acid, hydrochloric acid and petroleum refining. Valve guides, insecticide pumps, flood gates, piston ring inserts, sea water valves and pump bodies.
Available in dia bar stock from 1.50" to 11"
