Description:
Ti-6AL-4V (Grade 5 , classed as an alpha- beta alloy is the most widely used of the high strength titanium alloys. Grade 5 combines its good mechanical strength and low density (4.42 kg/dm3) with excellent corrosion resistance in many media. Grade 5 is fully heat treatable in section sizes up to 15 mm and is used up to approx 400 deg C (750 deg F)
Typical applications: Oil and gas, marine offshore and power generation, including the aerospace industry.
Available in dia bar stock from ¼" to 16"
