Nickel Alloys
The main applications for these materials include oil field equipment manufacturers, petrochemical industries, pump and valve manufacturers, marine/naval applications, nut & bolt producers and also any application where there is a corrosive/hostile environment. Supplied as round bars, sizes from 38mmØ to 200mmØ.
Alloy 42; Nilo 42; UNS K94100; ASTM F 30,B 753; DIN 17745; 1.3917; AFNOR NF A54-301
A nickel-iron controlled-expansion alloy containing 42% nickel. It has a low and nominally constant coefficient of thermal expansion in the 85°F (20°C) to 570°F (300°C) temperature range.
Monel Alloy 400; UNS N04400; ASTM B 127, B 163 - B 165, B 564; 2.4360/2.4361; AFNOR NU30
A nickel-copper alloy with high strength and excellent corrosion resistance in a range of media including seawater, hydrofluoric acid, sulphuric acid, and alkalis. Used for marine engineering, chemical and hydrocarbon processing equipment, valves, pumps, shafts, fittings, fasteners, and heat exchangers.
Hastelloy Alloy 600; UNS N06600; ASTM B166; DIN 17742, 17750-17754; 2.4816; AFNOR NC15 Fe
A nickel-chromium alloy with good oxidation resistance at high temperatures and resistance to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking, corrosion by high-purity water, and caustic corrosion. Used for furnace components, in chemical and food processing, in nuclear engineering, and for sparking electrodes.
Hastelloy Alloy 625; UNS N06625; BS 3076 NA21; ASTM B446; 2.4856; AFNOR NC22D Nb
A nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with an addition of niobium that acts with the molybdenum to stiffen the alloy's matrix and thereby provide high strength without a strengthening heat treatment. The alloy resists a wide range of severely corrosive environments and is especially resistant to pitting and crevice corrosion. Used in chemical processing, aerospace and marine engineering, pollution-control equipment, and nuclear reactors.
Inconel Alloy 718; UNS N07718; ASTM B637, B670; 2.4668; AFNOR NC19Fe Nb
This alloy is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-chromium alloy containing also significant amounts of iron, niobium, and molybdenum along with lesser amounts of aluminium and titanium. It combines corrosion resistance and high strength with outstanding weldability including resistance to post weld cracking.
Hastelloy C276; UNS N10276; ASTM B574; 2.4819; AFNOR NC17D
Versatile corrosion-resistant alloy, usually does not need to be solution heat treated after welding and has vastly improved fabricability, excellent resistance to localized corrosion and to both oxidizing and reducing media.
