17/4 PH BS En 1008-3
Description:
17/4 Stainless steel is one of the original precipitation hardened grades. 17/4 comes with a blend of corrosion and oxidation resistance with characteristics that include toughness, excellent mechanical properties and high strength at elevated temperatures.
17/4 can be easily forged, formed and welded.
Applications include pump shafts, bolts, gears, bearings, spindles, turbine parts, valve components and temperature sensor products.
Available in condition ‘A’, solution annealed and heat treated to H1150. Other heat treated conditions are available on request i.e. H900 and H1020.
