Titanium stabilized austenitic stainless steel. The grade is also well known
for its high ductility, particularly when considering cold forming.
Supplied as:
Round bars & flats.
416S21; AISI 416; 1.4005
This was the first free machining stainless steel. It is a heat treatable
chromium steel with excellent machinability and non-galling characteristics.
The alloy is magnetic in all conditions.
Supplied as:
Round bars.
420S21; AISI 410; 1.4006
This is the basic martensitic stainless which will attain high mechanical
properties after heat treatment. It has good impact strength, corrosion and
scaling resistance up to 1200 F (649 C).
Supplied as:
Round bars.
430F; AISI 430; 1.4104
This free cutting magnetic stainless steel is used in the food and chemical
industries for its corrosion and heat resistance properties.
Supplied as:
Round bars ( 3mmØ to 12mmØ ).
