Nilo® Alloy 36

Nilo® 36 (Also known as Alloy 36, Invar 36, Dilaton41, FeNi36) is an iron-nickel controlled expansion alloy containing 36% nickel with a low and nominally constant coefficient of thermal expansion in the 20°C (85° F) range up to about 300°C (570 °F). Nilo® Alloy 36 is extensively used in the oil and gas, pharma, medical, electronics, automotive industries as well as many other precision engineers in various applications including bi-metal thermostat strips, thermostat rods, electronic tubes, glass to metal and ceramic to metal seals.
