S32750 Super Duplex Stainless Steel Bar

S32750 super duplex stainless steel bar (UNS S32750), also known as SAF 2507, is a high-performance duplex grade developed for demanding, chloride-exposed service. It combines very high mechanical strength with outstanding corrosion resistance, making it a common choice for marine and offshore environments, chemical processing and pollution control.

Overview
Super duplex stainless steels are often specified where pitting, crevice corrosion and stress corrosion cracking (SCC) are key concerns. S32750 is a 25% chromium, copper-free duplex (austenitic/ferritic) stainless steel that delivers excellent corrosion performance in seawater and other aggressive chloride conditions. The grade is typically supplied in the annealed condition. While it cannot be hardened by heat treatment, higher surface strength can be achieved through cold working.
